Family Resource Programs provide informal learning opportunities and social networks to parents and caregivers of young children.

Children benefit from stimulating "learning through play" environments and develop social, cognitive, and language skills necessary for healthy development.

Macaulay operates 5 Family Resource Programs:

1.) Junction Caregiver Resource Centre
Where: 145 Annette Street (Keele and Annette)
When: Mondays 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Thursdays 12:45 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Fridays 10:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Program Offers: parent-child drop-in, toy-lending library, nutritious snack, information and referral, access to other community resources

2.) Supporting Young Families
Where: 1651 Keele Street  (Keele/Rogers)
When: Thursdays 3:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Program Offers: parent-child drop-in for teen parents, nutritious snack, access to other community resources, parenting workshops and counselling. This program is part of an inter-agency network providing a range of services to pregnant and parenting teens. For more info, please click here.

3.) Dufferin Mall Family Place
Where: Dufferin Mall (Bloor and Dufferin)
When: Wednesdays 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
Program Offers: parent-child drop-in, access to other community resources, information and referral.

4.) Humberline
Where: 70 Humberline Drive (Hwy 27 and Finch)
When: Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m
Program Offers: parent child drop-in, information & referral, access to other community resources, nutritious snacks and unique inter-generational activities.

5.) Queen's Plate
Where: 910 Queen's Plate Drive
When: Mondays 9:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Thursdays 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Program Offers: parent-child drop-in, access to other community resources, information and referral.
