The Parent Education & Support Program is an in-home peer parent support program for high need families with young children (birth to six years) and for pregnant women, living in the former City of York.

The program offers:

  • Activities and information to support healthy child development
  • Linkages to community services and resources such as food banks, parent groups and medical services.

Languages: Service is provided in English, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, Urdu and Vietnamese.

The Parent Education & Support Program is part of Program Without Walls, funded by Health Canada. It also provides the home visit component of the Healthy Babies/Healthy Children initiative of Toronto Public Health in the former City of York.
